Our story
It started with a semester spent on a dead end.
Every researcher has one: months of work on a question that turned out to be answered in 2019, in a venue nobody in the group reads. The literature was there the whole time. Reading all of it first was never realistic.
The rest of the week goes the same way — chasing a citation that moved journals, rebuilding the same diagram for the fourth time, hunting for the version that last compiled, reformatting a bibliography for a new venue. None of it is research, and all of it is where the time goes.
CitePark was built to absorb that layer. Not to write your paper for you — to make sure the hours you spend on it go into the thinking that actually moves your field forward.

Every score in a validation report traces back to the papers that produced it. A number you cannot argue with is a number you cannot use, so CitePark hands you the sources with the verdict.
Nothing lands unread
AI edits arrive as diffs, hunk by hunk, with keep and undo on each one. It is your paper and your name on it — the model gets to suggest, never to commit.
One workspace, not seven tabs
Research falls apart in the gaps between tools. References, drafts, figures, experiments, datasets and notes live in the same project, so nothing survives only on one laptop.
Open formats, no lock-in
DOI, arXiv, PubMed, BibTeX, RIS, CSL, LaTeX, TikZ, draw.io. Everything you put in comes back out in a format the rest of academia already reads.

CitePark is built and run by one person from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is not a registered company yet — no entity has been incorporated, and the legal documents say so plainly rather than borrowing the language of one that doesn't exist. What that means in practice: decisions are quick, the roadmap is driven by what researchers ask for, and there is exactly one address to write to.

Where the name comes from
Cite + park: somewhere to park your citations while a paper comes together. It is academic research software — nothing to do with vehicles, car parks or mobility, whatever the word suggests on its own.
